Today we'd like to highlight the Cape Breton County Islanders from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. The Cape Breton County Islanders are 1 of the 11 finalists in the Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup. Their Good Deed Idea is the creation of the Joey's Club, in honour of Joey moss. This is a community program that supports the inclusion of individuals with down syndrome. They are challenging other communities to start their own Joey's Club and support those in need.
Voting for the Good Deeds Cup ends on February 24th, so please take the time to review the videos and ideas of the finalists and vote for the team you think has the best idea!
