Empties business continuity plan during Covid-19
Thank you so much for your ongoing support of Empties to Winn and Winnifred Stewart.
We are writing to let you know that we continue to be fully operational during this time, but will be taking the following precautions for an indefinite period of time:
1) All Empties to Winn drivers have access to sanitizer and gloves, and will be using on a frequent basis
2) Any driver who displays symptoms of being sick will be sent home, and will not be put on routes for a period of 14 days
3) We will suspend doorstep interactions
a. If you haven't left empties out for us, and haven't skipped your pickup, our driver will give you a phone call to see if you're home, and if you have anything for us
b. Should you have containers for us, our driver is happy to wait while you obtain them from storage and place them outside for pickup
These are small measures which we hope will ensure the health and safety of you, our donor, as well as our valued drivers.
We do ask that you please continue to leave your donations out for us as they're incredibly important to Winnifred Stewart, and go a long way towards supporting nearly 200 individuals with developmental disabilities.
