Annual General Meeting and Membership Opportunities
Winnifred Stewart Association is excited to announce its Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for June 27th, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This is a pivotal event where members can actively participate in shaping the future of our organization.
Voting Memberships
To have a say in the decisions at the AGM, members must purchase a Voting Membership at least one day before the event. This membership entitles you to vote on critical issues, including:
Nominations to the WSA Board of Directors
Election of incoming Board Directors
Approval of Audited Financial Statements
Appointment of the auditor
Approval of revisions to bylaws and name changes
Please note that Winnifred Stewart staff members and their family members are not eligible to purchase a Voting Membership.
Voting Membership Fee: $25
Associate Memberships
For those looking to engage more deeply with our community, we offer Associate Memberships. These memberships grant access to our facilities, including the Winnifred Stewart Community Kitchen, gymnasium, and meeting rooms. Associate Members enjoy the benefits of these amenities and can choose from the following options:
Associate Personal Membership: $50
Associate Small Nonprofit Membership (<$250k): $50
Associate Large Nonprofit Membership (>$250k): $100
Associate Corporate Membership: $250
Combining Memberships for Voting Rights
Associate Members who wish to vote at the AGM must also purchase a Voting Membership. This ensures that all voting participants are fully invested in the governance of our association.
